Start by choosing your main cover design option. You can then add extra services individually or choose one of our package deals, which combine multiple services at a special price.

→ 2. DRAFTING PHASE

We’ll create one or more initial concepts based on your brief. You can request revisions during this phase to refine the direction while staying consistent with the original idea.

→ 3. ELABORATION

Once the concept is approved, we’ll move to the final high-resolution version and prepare any selected add-ons.

→ 4. DELIVERY

Your final files will be delivered once everything has been completed and payment has been received.

The standard turnaround for the main cover design is around 10 working days, excluding waiting time for feedback. Additional services may require extra time.

We are usually booked several months in advance, but Bonus Slots may be available if you’d like to start sooner with a more flexible timeline (more relaxed pace) with the advantage of starting your project sooner.

1. Main Cover Design:

One high resolution file (2700×4050 pixels / RGB / 300dpi) in JPEG format coming with a couple of 3D mockups for your promotional images.

2. Premium Foil Cover Design: 

This option features a deliberately minimal background allowing all design elements to be rendered in foil. Includes one fullwrap exports (either paperback or hardcover).

3. Typography-Only:

Custom typography design without illustrations or artwork. Available as a standalone service. Please go order it directly from the add-ons page or via e-mail.

• Standard Foil Printing Export: Foil-ready version of your existing cover design. Typography and selected elements will be converted into foil while keeping the original design unchanged. (Available as an add-on to the Main Design option.)
• Sprayed Edges: Custom edge design or texture matching your book cover.
• Endpapers: Custom decorative design or texture matching your book cover.
• Title Pages: Decorative title page design with custom typography
• Chapter Headers: Custom chapter header designs with ornamental decorations or simple illustrations. Up to five headers included.
• Standard Bookmark: Double-sided bookmark with a non-foil design.
• Foil Printing Bookmark: Double-sided bookmark prepared for foil printing.
• AudioBook Cover: Square audiobook cover file. This add-on is intended for self-published audiobooks only. If your audiobook will be produced or distributed by a third-party publisher, please ask your publisher to contact us directly.
• Blank Artwork: Artwork file separated from typography. Intended for promotional use related to the original cover only.
• Social media package:
  • Facebook banners
  • Facebook post graphics
  • Instagram post graphics
  • 3D mockups with transparent background
  • Up to three A+ Content Banners

Special edition designs can also be created even if MerryBookRound did not design your main cover. These services are available as standalone purchases.

We do not use AI tools to create our covers. We are firmly against it. All designs are created manually.

We are usually booked several months in advance, so please consider a waiting time of around 2–3 months between your first inquiry and the start of your project.

If you need to start sooner, a Bonus Slot may be available (subject to availability). In this case, your project will be worked on in between other commissions, with a slower turnaround (up to 30 working days), but you won’t have to wait several months for an available slot.

Typography/Object covers have a fixed price, regardless of the number of elements included.

Custom covers featuring human or animal figures require an additional +50 EUR fee and include up to three main figures: 2 humans + 1 large animal or 1 human + 2 large animals (such as wolves, tigers, bears, and similar creatures). Smaller animals such as ravens, mice, and similar critters are not limited. Additional figures may require an extra fee depending on their complexity.

For full wrap exports, please make sure to provide the correct specifications and templates before we begin working on the files. Incorrect information may result in additional work and extra fees.

Kickstarter project pricing may vary depending on the number of pages and elements required. The basic fee starts at €150. Please request a detailed quotation before placing an order.
